Thank you. Sorry for my late night screen keyboard spelling. Reading it back is awful.

Out of curiosity, how much material had to be taken off from the end of the stanchions?

Oya,
very little. Maybe 1.5-2mm.
My biggest worry is that the wall thickness of the stanchion , where the steel slug is , is VERY thin, and with it gone, it is supporting a big load under braking. I am hopeing Andreani has tested the forks with the cartridges in well enough.

Except for a fairing piece and the panniers I am pretty much finished and still haven't done a full story. It's been too hot in the shed to work in there (40 to50degC in there this Summer) , so I have been a bit slack.
I have ridden the new suspension ( Andreani forks and Ohlins rear) and it transforms the bike.  I also go my Michelin road 5's on as well, so the handling and ride is dam fine.

He is certainly not the guinea pig. Those cartridges were run in many racing series 'round the globe without any issues - so he should be fine.
