Suzuki Katana
« on: March 07, 2019, 04:07:39 PM »
There has been a fair bit of coverage of Suzuki's new Katana in the press - they are now taking it around the UK to various shops and shows, don't know if it's available to test ride though - see https://www.morebikes.co.uk/56662/suzuki-announces-mammoth-katana-tour-around-the-uk-here-are-the-dates/

Might be interesting if you like trying different bikes!?

Me too.

I was like 11yo, I was totally captivated by how it looked.

From what I've read, they've based the powerplant of the GSXR K5, which has become a legendary engine. That motor also inspired BMW 's S1000RR.

I'd like to see this bike in person.

It looks good from the front but that rear end!!!***** I think the design team had  slip of the pen.

There was one on the Suzuki stand at Motorcycle Live last November and it will not be on my shopping list!!
