I know its a old thread but...what way do you turn to undo the axle?

It has a normal thread, so counter-clockwise but be sure to loosen the pinch bolt at the bottom first.

Found this through the search engine (CtrlEsc thanks for the idea !)
Used M10 bolt and nuts and welded them together.
Torque is 54 Nm so I guess that will hold.

I still can't believe these bikes don't come with a cheap tool kit.
At least is the U.S. they don't.
I made the same tool for the front axle, but I welded the nut to
the 70 cent Lowes bolt. I had the right size nut laying around.

Cheapest I could find on Amazon 16.12$ CDN, eBay quite a bit more.
I will grab the hardware to have something on hand.

If I order anything from RALLY RAID that tool of theirs is definitely going to be purchased at the same time :821:
