Dothan, AL.  Just left the showroom with a 2019.  I'm a KLR650 turncoat.

Thanks.  There sure isn't much comparison to the KLR.  I just want to hit the road and keep going till sunset.  A fuel gauge? Wow.  ABS? Dagum.  64mpg.  Holy cow.  And it's got a really nice rumble from the pipes.
Woot. woot.

Welcome to the forum! I stayed overnight in Dothan on my way to Orange Beach in February when riding down from Virginia looking for some warmth (and a SuperBowl party). Everyone I met in Alabama was super friendly. You'll love the CB500X!

So when I walked into the dealer they were talking to someone about sending this 2019 down to a dealer in Miami.  Apparently these 2019's are few and far between.  Wasn't another one anywhere between southern Alabama and Miami.  Even the big dealer up in Birmingham couldn't lay hands on one.  I feel pretty fortunate.....or gullible maybe.  Nah.  I've been searching and looking into these for quite a while.  I feel more educated on this model than most of the sales staff I've talked too.  It sat in their showroom for a week and I was "the first person interested" in it.
Woot. woot.

I like my silver 2018, but I think a red Honda is sweet.

That is a good looking bike! Welcome and let the mods begin. No more worries about a doohickey here.
