Yes, in the 2019 model, a cable with an open plug is already installed in the wiring harness. It lies on the left under the side panel and is controlled by the ignition. If the socket is to work without ignition, a new cable must be connected, which is connected directly to the battery. That's the way it is with the CB in Germany, if that applies to all countries, I can not say.

Perfect. Thanks so much for this information. I live in Belgium so must me the same. Cheers.

Does anyone know if the circuit for the OEM 2019 12v accessory outlet switched or is it always hot?

Thanks so much adman.

I'm trying to get the side fairing off I have removed the 4 screws and push-pin type connector removed along with the two Velcro tabs disconnected... but cannot for the life of me get it to come off. One video said to loosen the two 5mm bots homing what appears to be the dash in place but that doesn't seem to affect it. I don't want to damage this thing so am I supposed to pull out? up? forward or backward? Any hints?

...update: never mind. It has two clips connecting to the front cowl that pull directly out and a third at the top near the dash screw I loosened and it pretty much fell off in my hand. It's always so easy when you know what you're doing.

There are some 2019 specific accessories but they are difficult to find. They are on the Honda UK site somewhere so you could try there.

The 12v socket is about 120 and the heated grips are 450 so you might want to try aftermarket!!

Ive gone for a set of OEM heated grips for an earlier Honda for 85 - I had them on my old X and they looked and worked fine.

Wow, I've literally just ordered my '19 bike and requested there 12v socket and it was showing as 25, he didn't query it and there wasn't any deals on from what I could see but thats a crazy difference from July to December!

Talked to USA Honda today.  They don't have any good excuses for why they're so behind on accessories.  The 12V socket is now pushed back to Sept 30.

Did you get this in the end, if not just get it from the UK, might work out cheaper even with shipping across the pond

25 for the 12V socket is parts only. Honda have the fitting at 50. Fingers crossed you get free fitting  :046:

How often do they throw in a free fitting for something like that? Not very often, right?
