Hello from France
« on: July 03, 2019, 10:59:42 AM »
Hello everyone,
 :431: my bad English language.

I just changed my Crossrunner Vfrx, for this C 500 X 2019, and I must say that I fell in love with this bike. Of course, it has nothing to do with the Crossrunner, which is a great bike, but here in France, with the speed restrictions more and more severe  :121:, many radars, environmental problems, pollution etc without forgetting the price of fuel, I said to myself, why continue to ride with such a powerful machine, since I only use 30% of his abilities.
So it's only been a week that I have this CB 500 X, but I find a certain pleasure to ride with, it's really a bike "Cool", which corresponds to our time, with all the problems of ecology , I feel less guilty, and moreover it is a real "camel"! I just returned from a 15-day trip to Ma i through California, but unfortunately by car ... and I would dream of the motorcycle, but not HarleyDavidson (I have nothing against the Harley!), but with this 500 X, it must be nice, and why not the route 66 from Chicago to LA? ...
What a beautiful country! and the Grand Canyon ... Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Death Valley .... Wow ... I took the slap in my life!
I hope that I will not regret the choice of this bike!
Patrick from France

:400: I went from a VFR (2007 800) to the CBX for some of the same reasons (and some old man reasons!).  If I want to go faster, I just make vooomm-vooomm sounds in my head.  The bike is seriously fun, and your English is impressive!

I know what you mean ref the V4 sound of crossrunner - however I fitted a nice inexpensive end can with No messing about to fuel injection simply unbolt OE and replace - FUEL exhaust end can- gives a lovely sound and seems to free up the whole machine. see pic -  :062:

Welcome to the forum. I sold a heavy 1100cc BMW and bought the much lighter 500cc Honda, and have more fun with the Honda. I also use 1/2 the gasoline!
