1st USA Mag review of the 2019 CB500x
« on: July 31, 2019, 03:16:22 AM »
Should start by saying I gave up on the 2019 CB500X some months back.
I could not track one at a local dealer (seeing other take deliveries here the USA) and I could not get a delivery date putting a deposit down.

No thanks Honda... I'll wait for the other 2 of the big 4 to come out with something (VX400 or who knows)

With that said, this could be the 1st USA Mag review of the 2019 CB500x. Months after USA arrival and not worthy of a video but lots of pictures

Nice review - frustrating that you can't find one over there, truth is, there is nothing else quite like it, and other manufacturers only seem to be offering smaller engined (and dimensioned) bikes.....or 650's!!  :016:

Agreed, I don't get why dealers would turn away orders and business

Hey, Kicker, don't give up!  This is a fine little bike at a great price point especially with the new 2019 features.

Can't tell what state you're from but I followed the Forum as buyers on the east coast got their bikes then, it seems, the Pacific Northwest next then NoCal.  One month ago here in the Phoenix area, I gave up my CBX ABS search & walked away but took delivery of an ABS model one week ago after a Tucson dealer actually busted a nut to find one.  There's plenty of non-ABS models now although I haven't talked to another dealer in this area who's received an ABS model.

Hope this encourages you, kicker.  Stick with it; it's worth it.  I've worked my way down the bike size food chain from bigger & fancier bikes that were twice the price & now I'm VERY happy with the CBX ABS; I think it's gonna be a ton 'o fun.  Cheers & ride safely, Bob in AZ/USA

I've got a 19 I'd consider selling.  It's got about 1500 miles on it.
Woot. woot.
