Thank you for the welcome in the worldwide circle of CB500X drivers.  :080:
In the beginning it was already a big difference to my over 100 hp strong sportstourer, but gradually I get used to the new machine. The upright sitting position, the open knee angle, the wide handlebar and the easy handling compensate for the lack of performance. Since I have not yet made a first inspection, I can not fully rev up the engine now, I think, then it will go a bit faster.
The suspension is quite simple, but responds well to bumps, the new 19" large front wheel holds stable the radius and can also easily drive in alternating curves. The brakes are ok, although I would like to front a second brake disc. The seat is comfortable even on longer journeys. In addition to the good handling characteristics conjures up the small gasoline consumption a laugh in the face. At the moment, the engine consumes 3.2 liters per 100 Km.  :001:
Yeah, the Harley and Chopperdrivers do not greet in Germany either, they are their own species. (Aliens)  :171:
Thanks for the tip with Motor Planet, at the moment I'm still looking for parts for the conversion. I have already installed some things, the inside of the windshield is painted dark, a protective grille for the cooler was mounted, a voltmeter and a USB socket were installed. At the moment I'm designing a color design for the CBX, many things I've already constructed on the computer are ready for printing. If interested, I will show and describe my conversions work in a new thread with photos.
So that's it for today ...
