That add says it's a 2019-- it is not
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike

Well yes and no, it is a 2019 registration (probably an showroom bike!, being one of last of the out going models to be registered) but yes not the new generation X. Nothing wrong with that

They mention delivery in the ad, be cheeky and ask if they'll include delivery within stated price. Only problem is your buying blind but it's less than a year and with those miles, should be fine and there's the Honda warranty.

I've only rented a van once to collect a motorbike, doing big miles does make for a long day and gota be confident in the bike your going to get :307:

I would say the biggest factor for choice of machine is what type of riding are you trying to satisfy. The cb 500x has versatility that is hard to match especially if you want the flexibility to negotiate unpaved roads. I used to have a honda XL600  thumper and loved it but it's no picnic on the highway, that being said I had more fun on that bike than a barrel of monkeys and I'm sure you can get a used XL650r under budget...It's certainly not going to provide all-day comfort on the road though.

It's a shame Honda don't make the Tracer 700  :091:
I think a CB650X would be perfect

Then go ride a Versys 650. Lovely twin motor.

I'm on my second 500x at the moment but I've been looking at others. I've sat on the 700 tracer but found it too cramped, my legs were bent too much. Wee storm caused my knees immediate pain. The 700 tenere fits very well. 650 versys also fitted me ok but my heart yearns for the tenere, test ride on Monday. My other consideration would be a new 500x. Has anyone had the "old" model and the 2019 model. Is there any difference in seating position?
