Sad Times
« on: January 18, 2020, 08:03:18 AM »
Sad day today as I say goodbye to my much loved CB500x!

Like to say what a great forum this is and the information on here really helps.

Can't recommend this little bike enough to anybody she has been a fantastic bike, but afraid I've turned to the dark side and picking up a new Kawasaki Versus 650 today.

Goodbye guys and thank you!

Cheers Ash

Nice one - you'll appreciate all the extra grunt. I had an Er6n, similar motor and one problem was spinning up the back end on wet roads.

Enjoy.

Post a review once you are used to it.
Brian.

If you get a chance, report back on the Versys after you get some good miles on it. In the meantime, enjoy!

Good luck with the new bike I had a new 2016 Versys in between my 2014 and 2019 CB500X- much prefer the CB500X especially the low end power of the 500X -the Versys is more powerful on top but I swear the 500X feels better down low that I noticed as I drove away from the dealership on the Versys- but different people different bikes still good luck
It's not a big motorcycle just a groovy little motorbike

Enjoy the Versys I have read reports on them and they have all been positive. You'll like the extra 150cc around the 75 mph mark :)
