2019 model - What Pannier frames have people used?
« on: January 21, 2020, 08:40:57 PM »
Since deciding on this machine, I've been researching pannier frames for it, to secure my Enduristan Monsoon 3 soft bags too.

So, what has the collective tried?

What works and what doesn't work with soft bags?

Thanks in advance, Steve, sitting here at the PC, waiting for input  :015:

Hi Steve

I've fitted Hepco & Becker C-bow mounts, plus Roster soft bags, to my 2019 CB500X, but I tend to travel fairly light.  The bags hold enough for a few nights away but, if camping, I strap a waterproof bag across the back seat for extra space. I live in NZ, so had to get the H&B gear from Australia.  The bags are waterproof, and the C-bows quite neat when not carrying the bags.

Here's a cheap lightweight effective alternative . Keeps any soft luggage from fouling on the tire.  :821:
