Well, not saying this is definitive, but it certainly seems like you have a 2020 afterall.  Interesting that yours is pretty much identical to the 2019s, and doesnít have any of the changes shown in the videos.  So it seems Jenny is correct snd South America/Brazil get some slightly different product from us.

It doesn't really matter if it's a 19 or a 20 it's still a great bike. I just wish I could do something with it, the weather's rubbish at the mo and by the time I get home from work it's dark  :151:

Your info got me wondering.  So I did some more sleuthing, and it turns out Honda deliberately skipped the letter ďIĒ (presumably because it looks too much like the number ď1Ē.)

That means:

G=2016
H=2017
J=2018
K=2019
L=2020

So Swannyís is, in the end, a model year 2019.  Like he said, itís a great bike regardless.  But we still donít know for certain whether the tweaks made to those 2020 Brazilian CBXs will be seen elsewhere.

I have to say - that silver with the red stripe and black side panels looks really great.

Itís still the red for me.  Iíll be curious to see if the 2020 US version has the same scheme as the Brazilian, but Iím not holding my breath.  I do prefer the centerline tank stripe to the camo graphic, though.

Interesting that all CB500's have disappeared from Honda UK's website. X, F, and R.

Maybe preparing for new models info?

The US website hasnít changed anything.  As near as I can tell, the model year 2020 info and images are still identical to those shown for the MY 2019.
