T-rex Racing Heavy Duty Skid Plate installed ...
« on: February 29, 2020, 02:04:51 AM »
I had few issues with the installation on my 2013,  , the included 2 short bolts were too short to be used with the included washers, there was a 1/4 inch gap on the right side where the long bolt goes , had to use 1 of 2 spacers previously removed from the upper brackets installation, and finally , 2013-2015 , heat shield has 3 bolts , the one in the middle is in the way , had to bent it ( or cut it) , 2016-18 has 2 bolts so you would be fine. I need to fix teh shifter , its a little loose with the new included plastic spacer . I paid 390 CAD tax included, free shipping from excelmoto  5 days delivery(from US) , I bought my 2013 last week , my first street bike , I have to wait until june to ride it when I get my training and license . I will ride it earlier in the trail near my home , i am also proud owner of 700xx for 10 years now . My next Mod tomorrow is Aukee H4 led headlight bulb, 50W 6000K 10000 Lumens , then SW crashbar , then oxford heated grip ... and handguards .

Nice to see a different one. Is that an access panel for the oil filter on the left?
Apologise if its obvious but I'm looking on my phone without my glasses

yes it is , I intended to buy their crashbar as well but I wont because completely covers the door , but otherwise design seems really good with included sliders.
