Thinking of different exhaust - Fuel naybe??
on: March 31, 2020, 09:19:06 AM
Has anyone fitted one of these? I was looking at the 250mm variant, not sure what it'll look like though. Maybe it'll look daft being so short??
I'd like a bit more room behind my heel, particularly if I stand with the peg in the middle of the boot sole.
I don't want it to get too loud either, I use it for commuting and don't want to start upsetting the neighbours. I've got another bike for that  :047:

Cheers.

I had a Fuel carbon diablo on my Tiger 800xcx and it was great...just slightly louder on normal running but gets nicely louder on harder acceleration but not offensive at all .
Customer service is great from this small husband and wife business just north of Kendal.
They had not done for the XCX before but offered by arrangement for me to take my bike in and they fitted it whilst I waited and dried out, it hammered it down on my journey. Some Kendal mint cake and  brew along with a neck tube thrown in and I was sorted.
They then took some pics and used the image on their website..I think it's still there.
I can definitely recommend their product and service, I dont have the bike myself anymore but it's still running around with that can on four or more years later.

Which onE of the Black Widow cans are you going for? And when do they expect to ship? I see on the website they say that there could be a few days delay with orders.
They look a pretty good price.

This was the brand the dealership offered when I bought the bike. Slipped my mind so thanks for reminding me.

I've got a Fuel can on my 600 Transalp. Quality bit of kit and as has already been mentioned, a really freindly, small family firm that are keen to help out where they can.

I've just been comparing the Arrow can that came off my V-Strom against the CB5X can, with a view to trying to re-use it on the CB. No can do - the angle of link pipe along with an extra 10mm diameter on the Arrow means I can't bodge it, which is a shame as the can sounded great on the V-Strom.

I looked at the Blackwidow cans - look like great value for the money.

Must be a Lancashire thing...
I ordered the Titanium one at 04-31 this morning !
I had sold a bit of Rizoma stuff and had some money sat in PayPal account doing nothing so with that an 15% discount I just added 75 squids towards it..

379-00 full price with current situation was just a bit too rich at the moment.

:158: Swanny - did you order and get your Black Widow Exhaust yet?
Thinking of adding one of these to my new CBX
